Cyclone Entertainment has just secured the right to sell the hilarious TV sitcom “Blexicans”. They have a completed TV Pilot produced and co-written by Zandra Rivera and directed by Bill Duke. It competes on a successful comedy level with “Blackish” and “Fresh Off The Boat”. The theme deals with a young black man who is married to a young Hispanic woman. They have a 7 year old daughter. The black family members of the young man and the Hispanic members of the young woman are in constant culture clash. It’s the matriarch of the black family (Marla Gibbs) and the love for the daughter that keeps this entourage of characters grounded. Cyclone Entertainment anticipates that “Blexicans” will have a long run on a powerful prime time venue.
